Technical Scribe | Workshop Scribe | HAZID Scribe | HAZOP Scribe | LOPA Scribe
Background to the Scribe role
Would you like to work as a workshop scribe? The workshop scribe plays a key role in the delivery of a sucessful HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA or other type of workshop. The role carries with it significant responsibility and it is also a fantastic opportunity to gain more personal experience, including valuable insight from operations and other engineering disciplines. The role allows you to develop your soft (interpersonal) skills by observing and interacting with the workshop team. Scribes sometimes choose to go on to become workshop facilitators and the scribe role is a good grounding for that journey. At Safety Engineering Solutions Ltd, there are really good opportunities to work alongside an experienced facilitator on some exciting projects and at some really excellent operating companies.
Safety Engineering Solutions Ltd have an ongoing requirement for support by technical scribes at safety workshops including HAZID, HAZOP and LOPA. The requirement is ad-hoc / temporary / short-term, as needs arise, and is not a full-time role within Safety Engineering Solutions Ltd. If you would like to be considered for HAZID, HAZOP or LOPA workshop scribe roles, please contact us using the form below. The opportunity is open to individuals (e.g., sole traders or limited companies) but also open to companies that can provide or share resources in a collaborative arrangement.
Scribe Role Description

Typically, the safety workshops will be 1-5 days duration but longer workshops may arise. The applicant may already work for a company or can be an individual such as a sole trader or limited company owner.
